Faced with a terrifying challenge of seeing his own people facing him at war, Arjun, the bravest of the brave, surrenders his weapons at the feet of the Supreme Godhead, the divine shepherd. Krishna realizes Arjun's plight and unfolds the philosophy of life.

We live in an age of conflicts, stress and competition; we need to battle a million forces day to day, just to survive. Conflict resolution means the will to surrender, as much as the will to fight....and who else can be a better guide than Krishna, who is closest to our heart.

Krishna is a path, a journey towards realization of the Supreme Soul within- Who are we? Why are we? What are we? And the answers to these mystical questions came in the form of profound poetry by Meerabai, Tulsidas,Sant Gyaneshwar,and many more , who understood Krishna and gave themselves up to His Will, who were seemingly poor in worldly terms, but richer in their realization.

We are bound to action; hence we call this event Krishna Karta; the path of action, by surrendering our ego to the larger Ego, a presence that is within each one of us, Tat Tvam Aasi…the Truth, which is not perceived in its entirety, because of our worldly attachments to desires.

In every phrase of the devotion, by those who surrendered, one can notice the beauty of the language, and philosophy, conveyed in simple words. These, set to the combination of seven notes create an ethereal being  right in front of us, a persona  who had everything worldly to portray, and yet remained detached.

He is the Observer, as much as the Doer, as we are supposed to be.

The concert goes beyond just lyrics and music into the divine realms of the Self, a couple of hours that will transport you into the mystique world of an experience called KRISHNA
